The Last Day of August

It just feels more and more like fall, and I’m actually not mad at it.

Sadie bought me chai ice cream at the farmers market.

I ate it by the fire, dressed in leggings and a plaid jacket. The wind was too cold to be at the beach. I loom knitted. Babies napped and we did some sitting and visiting and just resting. It was lovely and peaceful. Supper was bonkers, as it almost always is when Stacy cooks 🤤

The day ended with the kids in the hot tub, making new friends while we listen to the big band play at the wedding up at the camp. And now, it’s time to wrap the day up.

Thank you Lord for always providing for us 💜
